Artist: Elizabeth Shoumatoff. (1888 - 1980), nee Avinoff. Russian-American artist. She is best known for painting the last portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt. The sister of Andrey Avinov, Director of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History from 1926 to 1946. 
Title: Portrait of Mary Louise Johnson Moreland. 1907 - 1958. She was the daughter of William Terrell Johnson and the granddaughter of the oil baron John Worthington.
Dimensions: 12 1/2"  x 9 1/2". Frame 16 1/2" x 13 1/2".
Date: c. 1950. (Mary Louise Johnson Moreland died in 1958).
