Artist: Vincent Nesbert (1898-1976) was born in Poland. He immigrated to the USA in 1914. He joined Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1928 and later served as its dean. Nesbert was commissioned by the WPA to paint murals for the Allegheny County Court House.
