Artist: George Baxter, after. George Baxter (1804–1867) was an English artist and printer based in London. He is credited with the invention of commercially viable colour printing. 
Title: Robert Moffat (1795 – 1883) was a Scottish Congregationalist missionary to Africa, father of Mary Moffat Livingstone and father-in-law of David Livingstone, and first translator of the Bible into Setswana.
Titled, Dated, and Signed in plate: Brethren! "how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard?" Robert Moffat [facsimile of signature].

Materials and Techniques: steel engraving on wove paper.
Provenance:  The Estate of George "Yorgo" Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute, and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, from 1965-2000.
