Lettered below the image with the title, reference 'Act I. Scene II. / Before the Duke's Palace - Rosalind, Celia, Orlando, Duke, & Attendants &c. - Charles carried off. / Ros. Gentleman, [Giving him a chain from her neck.] Wear this for me; one out of suits with fortune; That could give more, but that her hand lacks means. Shal we go, coz?' and 'Painted by Iohn Downman / Engraved by William Leney. / Pub June 4. 1800 by J. & J. Boydell, No. 90, Cheapside; & at the Shakspeare Gallery, Pall Mall, London.'.
