Engraver: Charles Theodosius Heath (1785 – 1848) was a British engraver, currency and stamp printer, book publisher and illustrator.

Materials and Techniques: Engraving and etching on chine collé laid on wove paper.
Dimensions: Image 9 6/8" x 7 5/8''. Sheet 17 1/2" x 11 7/8".
Condition: Small losses at the corners of the wove paper. The signs of aging are appropriate for the time. A detailed condition report is available on demand.

: Initially it was an engraving from the "Illustrations of the plays of Shakespeare from pictures painted by R Smirke". (The British Museum 1868,0822.5618).
