Artist: William Alexander (England, 1767 – 1816) was an English painter, illustrator, and engraver. He accompanied the Macartney Embassy to China in 1792, where he had seen the famous Porcelain Tower (completely destroyed in 1856).

Condition: Foxing, wear, tears. The left and right margins were folded to match the frame. The signs of aging are appropriate for the time. A detailed condition report is available on demand.
