Artist: Adolf Jelínek Alex (Czech, 1890-1957), painter, printmaker. Studied in Prague at Umeleckoprumyslová skola (the School of Applied Arts) with A. Jank, and then at the Akademie výtvarných umení (the Academy of Fine Arts) with M.Svabinský. In 1924 he traveled to Paris to participate in an exhibition of Czech graphic art.
