Artist: Claude Lorrain (c. 1600 - 1682) was a famous French painter, who lived and worked in Italy.

Title (as is in the descriptive catalog) [Vol.II]. No.170. A Landscape, with Cattle. Mercury and Battus. (1777 ed.). No.170.  Mercury and Battus. The latter is seated on a rock in the centre of the foreground of a Landscape, with Cattle feeding around him. (1819 ed.).
