Note: David Fischel has lived in Sedona since 1981. Fischel grew up in Detroit. He served as an apprentice at McNamara Assoc. Art Studio in 1967 and as part-time sculptor for the same studio from 1968-1970. He was a graphic artist and illustrator for Graphic House Agency from 1971-1972. From 1973 to 1988 he devoted full-time to work and research on graphic relief carvings. He was also a part-time sculptor while studying sculpture at Lansing Community College.
