Signed, Titled, Numbered, and Dated in plate: no. The inscription is cut out of a book and pasted onto the backing sheet l.r.
Dimensions: Sheet 12 1/8" x 10 1/2". Backing sheet 19 1/8" x 13 1/2".
Edition: proof before letters.
Date: circa 1760 - 1770 (Cooper Hewitt). 1763 (Wellcom collection). 1764 The British Museum.
Materials and Techniques: engraving in brown ink on cream laid paper pasted on the cardboard support sheet alongside the upper margin.
Mat and Frame: backing sheet.
Provenance:  The Estate of George "Yorgo" Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute, and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, from 1965-2000.
Condition: The engraving is in good condition. The backing sheet has some blemishes. The signs of aging are appropriate for the time. A detailed condition report is available on demand.
