Artist: John Thomas Smith, also known as Antiquity Smith (England, 1766–1833), was an English painter, engraver, and antiquarian.
Title: Rural view with a path winding in the centre at the edge of a forest on the right.

Publisher: John McCreery, English publisher and printer (1768-1832).
Edition: A Collection of Original Etchings. The original copper plates were believed to have been destroyed after this publication.
Date: 1816 (published).
Materials and techniques: etchings on thin paper, corners adhered to a sheet of cream support paper. Printed without margins.

Provenance:  The Estate of George "Yorgo" Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute, and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, from 1965-2000.
