Date: Circa 1851.
Materials and Techniques: Steel line engraving on "enamel card." Another name is "porcelain card."
Condition: VG. No wear, no abrasion. Stored in an album since May 1851, as confirmed by the inscription in iron-gall ink made in the u.r. corner of the backing page. Part of the paint from the surface of the engraving was offsetting through the tissue guard to the previous page and soaked into it. A detailed condition report is available on demand.
