Artist: Jost Amman (Swiss; German, 1539-1591), painter, draughtsman, designer of woodcuts, and etcher. He had settled in Nuremberg in 1561, taking the place of Virgil Solis (d.1562). Became the chief designer for Sigmund Feierabend's publications in Frankfurt.
