Artist: Tobias Stimmer (possibly), after.
Engraver: Jost Amman (Swiss; German, 1539-1591), painter, draughtsman, designer of woodcuts, and etcher. He had settled in Nuremberg in 1561, taking the place of Virgil Solis (d.1562). Became the chief designer for Sigmund Feierabend's publications in Frankfurt.

Signed in plate with Monogram IA (Nagler T. III, No 1768). Signed on the supporting sheet in ink; "Jost Ammon (sic) von Zurich aus (?) Tigurinus circa 1560. [p] 174".
Dimensions: 9" x 6 3/4". Supporting sheet 10 1/4" x 7 1/4".
