Inscription: Lettered in lower margin with title, production details and date: "Peint par Rembrant" and "Grave par Surugue fils Graveur du Roi 1759" and "Peint par son fils, tiré du Cabinet de Monsieur / le Comte de Vence" and "A Paris chez l'Auteur rüe des Noyers la porte Cochèr à Côté du Magazin de Papier A.P.D.R.". Comte de Vence's coat of arms in lower margin.

Condition: Scattered spotting. Waviness. Spots of glue recto. Lost some extremities of the backing sheet. The signs of aging are appropriate for the time. A detailed condition report is available on demand.
