Artist: Jost Amman (Swiss; German, 1539-1591), painter, draughtsman, designer of woodcuts, and etcher. He had settled in Nuremberg in 1561, taking the place of Virgil Solis (d.1562). Became the chief designer for Sigmund Feierabend's publications in Frankfurt.
Engraver: Monogrammist MB, woodcutter, active possibly in Frankfurt in the second half of the 16th C.; cut designs by Jost Amman; many of his blocks used in Feyerabend publications.
