Engraver:  Gérard Edelinck (1640 - 1707) was a copper-plate engraver and print publisher of Flemish origin, who worked in Paris from 1666.

NotePierre de Montarsis was a friend of Charles-Antoine Coypel. Coypel painted a portrait of Montarsis reading Charles Perrault's "Les Hommes Illustres... ". In the Goldin Fine Art collection, there is an engraving by Gérard Edelinck  after Lefèbvre portrait of Sébastien de Tillemont from that book.
