Title: Pilate showing Christ to the people, 'Ostentatio Christi', 'Ecce Homo' (John 19:4-6). 
Titled, Dated, and Signed in plate: "ECCE HOMO...MDCI" in the surrounding oval; "Crispin de Passe figurauit et excudit Coloniae." [The entire inscription is cut off and published here as the reference only].
Dimensions: 5" x 4 7/8".
Date: 1601.

Materials and Techniques: engraving on paper, the oval trimmed to the image.
Provenance:  The Estate of George "Yorgo" Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute, and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, from 1965-2000.
Condition: The print was laid down, currently partially removed from support. Remnants of support verso. A minor close tear. The signs of aging are appropriate for the time. A detailed condition report is available on demand.
