Artist: Anselm van Hulle, after. Anselm van Hulle (1601 - 1674) or Anselmus van Hulle was a Flemish painter mainly of portraits whose works were highly prized at the Northern European Courts. He was a court painter to the Prince of Orange and was one of the few portrait painters who attended the peace negotiations for the Peace of Münster in 1648.

Condition: Folded margins, tears along edges, well away from image, stains, remnants of old hinges recto. The signs of aging are appropriate for the time. A detailed condition report is available on demand.
