Artist: Richard Sawyer (British, 1785-1852), printmaker in London.
Title: The most Noble Ferdinand Lord Fairfax General of the Northern Counties. Ferdinando Fairfax, 2nd Baron Fairfax (British, 1584-1648). He was a commander in the Parliamentary army in the English Civil War.
