Robert Smirke (1752-1845) RA was an English painter and illustrator.
Charles Theodosius Heath (1785 – 1848) was an English engraver.

Materials and Techniques: Engraving and etching on chine collé laid on wove paper.
Dimensions: Image 9 6/8" x 7 5/8''. Sheet 17 1/2" x 11 7/8".
Condition: Small losses at the corners of the wove paper.

: Initially it was an engraving from the Illustrations of the plays of Shakespeare from pictures painted by R Smirke. (The British Museum 1868,0822.5618)
