Date: Circa 1850–1865.
Materials and Technique: mezzotint and engraving on heavy-weight wove paper (similar to Bristol board or light cardstock).
Provenance: The Estate of George "Yorgo" Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute, and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, from 1965-2000.
Condition: Poor; features a significant horizontal tear across the entire sheet and heavy oxidation caused by contact with an old backing. The margins remain physically intact but show remnants of paper from a previous matting.
