Cartographer: Tobias Conrad Lotter 1717-1777 The German cartographer, engraver, and publisher. He was married to the daughter of Geographer to the Imperial Court Georg Matthias Seutter, for whom he engraved a number of maps for atlases. In 1755 Lotter and Seutter collaborated on Atlas Geographicus Portatilis. Upon Seutter's death two years later, Lotter took over the business, based in Augsburg.

Condition: Fair. Dumpstains, wear, wrinkles, remnants of supporting paper verso, losses, wholes. The signs of aging are appropriate for the time. A detailed condition report is available on demand.
